Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves gets a lot of crap, mostly because Costner never could pull off an English accent so he just didn't even try. But I remember seeing this movie in the theater with my first boyfriend as a teen in high school. I remember how the entire theater cheered and clapped at the end...seriously! The movie ended with a standing ovation. At the time, it was pretty cool, and very romantic. But as time went on, people got over their infatuation with the movie and then began to turn on it. Whatever, I still love it. Thankfully, this song by Bryan Adams never got a bad rap. It still remains a powerfully important and inspirational love song.
